Dr. JOHN MICHELS IS AN EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL, SURGEON & A PERSON !
At home, we (My husband & I) call him now- "A GENTLE TOWER" of a specialist
& of a Terrific Communicator ! He was able to convince me to try and do the
LUMBAR INJECTION of my lower back, to see if that will reduce my Chronic Low
Back pain, I've endured for Longer than....25 YEARS, in a row: working as a preschool
teacher with babies and toddlers and Ruining my back while performing my
daily functions there. I have gone through this surgical procedure a few days ago,
and it lessened my pain to some degree, already.
I highly recommend to everyone with chronic & unbearable pain, to have a visit with Dr. MICHELS to consult about your pain. To have a clear view of what options are Helpful and available to you, in clear !

Dr. Michels is fantastic. A true professional in every way. He was always on time with office visits and procedures. He was thorough in his examination and spent plenty of time with me, not only examining the medical side of things but also getting to know me as a person. He is a doctor that really cares and it is evident by his positive, kind, and compassionate spirit. Dr. Michels staff was great too. Easy to work with and informative. He also has a great network of referrals for physical therapy. I was referred to Colette Wall at 3DPT and she was excellent! From the very first office visit he told me that the condition would heal if we treated it conservatively. He encouraged me to be patient and give the condition time to heal. I did and am happy to report I am doing well! Thanks Dr. Michel!!

The practice is very organized and professional. Dr Michael and his staff are very caring. Dr Michaels will diagnose and treat until he gets to the root of the problem. Would highly recommend Dr Michaels.

Very good experience from making the appointment to the visit with Dr. Michels. He was friendly, understanding and explained everything so it could be understood. The front office staff was also friendly and nice. It was a relief to feel that help is available with the plan Dr. Michels shared with me. Definitely recommend him.

Dr. Michels is awesome. He’s direct, thorough, and does not leave you waiting for long periods of time. I will use him for pain management indefinitely! His office staff are very nice and efficient. My only reservation with his practice is the chairs in the waiting room. They are low and very difficult for someone with back problems to sit in and get out of. There are no arms on the chairs, so that makes it difficult. But that is my only remark concerning need for improvement.
